Deleting your Mategora account
You can delete your account at any time, either from inside the app or by sending us a request. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

- Enter your account email address (or username) and password below, then press "Sign in".
- Once you are signed in, the "Delete account permanently" button becomes active.
- Press it, then confirm with your password in the box that appears.
- Your account and its data are deleted immediately and permanently.

Delete from the app
The fastest route. Your account is gone immediately — no waiting for a reply from us.
- Sign in to the Mategora app or at mategora.com.
- Open your account page: tap your username or the profile icon in the top bar.
- Scroll to the deletion section and press "Delete account permanently".
- Confirm in the dialog that appears.
Once confirmed, your account and its data are deleted on the spot and you are signed out.
Delete by email
If you can no longer sign in, send us a request and we will delete the account for you.
- Email support@mategora.com from the address the account uses.
- Use the subject "Mategora account deletion".
- Tell us the email address of the account to delete.
If you write from a different address, we may ask for extra details to confirm the account is yours. We will not delete an account without that check, so that nobody else can request it on your behalf.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following is removed permanently:
- Account details: name, email address, password, school year, language
- Practice results, XP, level and daily progress
- Submitted answers, completed homework and the feedback you received
- Flashcards and their review history
- Class memberships; for teachers: the classes, assignments, worksheets, quizzes and materials you created
- Active sessions, password reset tokens and two-factor authentication, if you had it enabled
- Problem reports you filed about exercises
What is kept
A few things remain, but none of them can identify you any more:
- Exercises, teaching materials and platform content — these were never personally yours
- Technical and security logs, for a short period, with no data that identifies you
- Technical database backups, from which data expires automatically within 30 days at most
- Accounting records for any payment, for as long as the law requires us to keep them
- Internal administrative records, with the link back to your account removed
- A deletion log — the date, the account role and a cryptographic code derived from the email address — with no name or plain address; this is how we can prove the deletion happened
How long it takes
Deletion from the app takes effect immediately. Email requests are handled within 30 days at the latest, usually much sooner. We confirm by email once it is done.
